Better than paper.

Visitors already pay for a guidebook. With Curious, you give them one that moves, talks and comes back with them next time.

What the pass unlocks.

Every visitor who scans a sign meets the animal. The pass tells them its story.

Free to every visitor

How the money moves.

Revenue is paid into your own account, and you’re the seller on the receipt. Our share arrives on its own.

  1. The visitor£3.00

Pays with Apple Pay, Google Pay or credit/debit card, right in the guide.

  2. Your account£2.25

You keep 75%, less Stripe’s card fee. You’re the seller, so VAT and refunds work like any normal sale.

  3. Curious75p

We keep a 25% fee, split off automatically at the moment of sale. No invoices needed.

Questions.

  • Do we pay anything?

No monthly fee. We keep 25% of each pass, and Stripe’s card fee comes out of your share. If nobody buys a pass, you pay nothing.

  • Can we keep a monthly plan and sell passes too?

No. Guide Pass replaces your plan, and it is the only way to sell passes. Turn it off any time and choose a plan again.

  • What happens if we turn it off?

You choose a plan, and the whole guide is free to every visitor again, including anyone who bought a pass. Passes are yours to sell, so if you leave Curious while some are still running, any refunds are yours to decide.

  • Who handles VAT and refunds?

You do, as with anything you sell in the shop. You are the seller, so each sale sits in your own Stripe account and your own books, and you can refund it from your Stripe dashboard. Our 25% isn’t returned on a refund or a dispute: it pays for selling through Curious.

  • Do visitors need an app or an account?

No. The guide opens in their phone’s browser and the pass stays on that phone. We never ask for a name or an e-mail address.

  • What if a visitor changes phone?

Every pass comes with a short code. Typing it in on another phone opens the guide there for the rest of the 12 months.

  • Do Live Labels need a pass?

No. The screens in your building always show the full content.

  • Can we keep selling our printed guide?

Yes. You could run both for a season and see which your visitors prefer.

Ready when you are.

£0 a month, everything in Accelerate, and no contract.
